Children and teens ages 6 to 18 who are uninsured or on Medicaid can get all the immunizations they need for school for free at two clinics offered by Lancaster General Health.
Stricter PA vaccination requirements go into effect this fall, and students who haven’t gotten all their shots or secured exemptions are at risk of being sent home after the first week of classes.
The clinics are scheduled as follows:
- 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, 8/26, at Together Community Center, 3293 Lincoln Highway East, Paradise.
- 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, 9/6, in the Wellness Conference Room at Lancaster General Health Suburban Pavilion, 2100 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and registration is required by calling 1-888-544-4636.
The government has requested that all school districts post a payment of school meal accounts on their school websites and blogs. Click the link below to read the district policy.
