The Greatest Show at Recess

As part of sixth grade’s “Pay it Forward” project, they’re once again holding a lunch recess carnival on June 5th and June 6th. The cause this year has yet to be determined, but other years’ monies raised have been donated by the 6th grade classes to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Wounded Warrior Project, Humane League, American Cancer Society, to name a few. This end of year tradition started in 2009. Please encourage your child to bring loose change to participate in the carnival activities.  Teachers will be supporting and participating in this worthy cause, as well. Activities will include face painting, snacks, desserts, and various carnival games. Please come and have fun!
