Thank You to Roberts Automotive and Customs Classics Auto Body Shop

We want to thank two local automotive businesses and all their clients that have made it their mission to support Penn Manor elementary students.  The cars and trucks pulled up in front of Conestoga yesterday morning and they unloaded all sorts of school supplies for Conestoga, Pequea, and Central Manor students.  We couldn’t be more appreciative of all the wonderful people who took the time to support us by donating school supplies. Listed below are just a couple of the people who organized and participated in the school supply drive.

Roberts Automotive – 3846 Columbia Avenue, Mountville

Customs Classics Auto Body Shop – 19 Stonemill Road, Conestoga

These local businesses hold a “friendly competition” each year to see who can raise the most school supply donations.  While we love their competitive spirit, all the students at CM, Pequea, and Conestoga are the real winners!  Wow, look at all those supplies!

Thanksgiving Donations Being Accepted

Bus 139 is Running LATE

I just found out that Bus 139 is extremely late in dropping off the children due to getting rerouted after coming upon a tractor-trailer accident. Thank you for your patience.

Earthquake Drill on Thursday

On October 19th, Penn Manor will participate in the great shake out earthquake drill This is an opportunity to practice how to protect ourselves during an earthquake.

The three important things your child will learn is to Drop, Cover, & Hold On!

DROP to the ground.

Take COVER by getting under their desk or a table in the classroom.

HOLD ON to your shelter & be prepared to move with it until shaking stops.

The tips above are just the start of knowing how to prepare for and respond to earthquakes. Use the following resources to help ensure your family is ready for the next earthquake.
