It’s hard to believe we’re advertising our last PTO meeting for this school year. Please plan to come tomorrow from 6:45 to 7:45. Thank you for supporting your children by being part of the PTO.
What a fun day we had today. Our cruising event was a big success. There were a lot of prizes and raffles for our students to win. EVERY student received a Super Hero book mark, as well as a water ice treat. The Grand Prize winner today was Ashley Banta, who won the scooter, complete with a helmet. Chloe Lyristis won a Spooky Nook gift card. Kaden Shaffer won a Skyzone gift card. Olivia Malpica won a VISA gift card. THANK YOU to Conestoga’s SUPER HEROES – THE PTO – for their endless hours of making this whole week a success for teachers, staff, and students alike.
Tomorrow, May 11th, there is a 1:30 early dismissal. The PM kindergarten class attends and has lunch at school.
It’s our BIG Cruising for Conestoga walk-a-thon event. Thank you for all the donations to our PTO for this FUNdraiser.
One of our sixth grade students in Mr. Mattern’s class, Thomas Reynolds, was featured on Fox 43 Weather Kids yesterday. He did an awesome job reporting the weather. Check it out on the link below:
One of Conestoga’s former students, Laura Beck, is collecting gently used backpacks and school supplies for the children of Bopolu, Liberia, Africa. Bopolu is a very poor village and is need of many things that we take for granted, like roads, water, electricity and housing. The newly built Eric Scott School is satisfying a great need by educating the children of Bopolu, Liberia. You can help the children with any small donation. Below is a list of items needed.
- used backpacks
- used clothing (shirts/T-shirts/pants/shorts/sneakers/shoes/sandals/socks)
- New underwear
- school supplies (composition books, colored paper, notebook paper, but not spiraled)
- bars of soap/liquid soap/shampoo/conditioner/toothpaste
- plastic ziplock bags (all sizes)
Thank you for considering a small donation, which can be sent in with your child. There is a collection box in the lobby area.
Starting May 3 and forward, below is what money would be needed to pay for your child’s lunch the rest of the year if they would buy every day.

We have been going through the lost and found trying to return anything that has a child’s name on it. BUT . . . there are still quite a few items. Those items, even coats and jackets, will be donated to charity at the end of the month. If you think your child is missing something, please feel free to come to school to check our lost and found table in the lobby, or better yet, have your child look one more time. Thank you.
