Conestoga Elementary PTO’s End of Year Picnic will be held on Thursday, May 23 from 6 to 8 pm, with the Cake Walk beginning at 7 pm. There will be Food, Music, Barrel Rides, Photo Booth, Face Painting, Lawn Games, and Cake Walk! All Conestoga Elementary students receive a FREE meal of a hot dog, chip bag, and drink! Additional food and beverages from local food truck vendors will be available for purchase. Items include soft pretzels, french fries, chicken nuggets, burgers, ice cream, and more!
The End of Year Picnic will be held rain or shine. All activities are free of charge. Please bring blankets or lawn chairs. All children must be accompanied with an adult.

Students in grades 3 to 6, PM is offering a free, 4 day summer code camp. The sessions will be held at Eshleman and Pequea Elementary Schools on the following dates:
June 17-20th – 9:00 am to 11:30 am & July 8-11th – 9:00 to 11:30 am
There are 100 open seats, but we suspect the camps will fill rapidly.
Computer science is fun and enables students to be creators, rather than just consumers, of technology. Join us for a four-day code camp! Using Google’s CSFirst program, students will learn the Scratch visual programming language and create theme-based projects. With Scratch, students can program interactive stories, games, and animations. Scratch helps young people learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively—essential skills for life in the 21st century.
The edible classroom, not affiliated with Penn Manor School District, is hosting a summer garden camp at Conestoga Elementary this summer. Camp is available for students currently in kindergarten through 5th grade.
Camp tuition is $100 and runs Monday to Friday from 9 to noon on either the week of July 15 – 19 or the week of August 5 – 9.
Registration forms are available in the school office and camp is limited to 20 students on a first come, first served basis.
Our last PTO meeting of this school year is scheduled for Thursday, May 9th from 6:45 to 7:45 PM.
