Quarryville Library Winter/Spring 2019 Activities for Teens Teen Clubs: Teen Anime Club: Fridays, 5:30—7:30 pm: Jan. 4 & 18; Feb. 1 & 15; March 1 & 15; April 5 & 19; May 3 & 17 Do you love anime? Check out this club! Watch anime, have some snacks, and socialize. Content will be PG/PG13.  (Ages 13—19) Teen Dungeons & Dragons Club: Sats. at 1—4:30 pm:  Jan. 12 & 26; Feb. 9 & 23; March 9 & 23; April 13 & 27; May 11  Join the adventure! Meets second and fourth Saturdays of the month. (Ages 12—19) Board Gaming: Saturdays at 11 am—3 pm: Jan. 19; Feb. 16; March 16; May 18 Open board game time in the library! Bring your favorite board games to share with the group. Quarryville Library Winter/Spring 2019 Activities for Kids STEM Saturdays: Sats., 10—11:30 am: Jan. 26; Feb. 16; March 23; May 18 The Quarryville Library is offering a series of hands-on STEM activities, using kits provided by Agilent Technologies, that attendees get to keep at the end!  Best for children ages 8 – 12 years of age. Participation is limited, so registration is preferred. Walk-ins welcome as class size allows. STEM Mobile: Robotics: Saturday, March 16, 2—3:30pm The Library is hosting a program about robotics with the STEM Mobile, presented by the Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania! Best for ages 6—12 years. Limited to 25 participants. Registration required, although walk-ins will be accepted as room allows. The Science of Seuss: There's a Wocket in my Pocket: Saturday, March 30, 10—11 am Presented by the Lancaster County Department of Parks & Recreation: "To accompany the reading of this Seuss classic we will learn what a habitat is and what all habitats have to have to support the plants and animals that live there."  Best for ages 5 - 10 years and a caregiver. Family Science Night: Wed., April 17, from 6—7:30 pm  A night of hands-on science experimentation for the whole family!  This program uses kits provided by Agilent Technologies, that attendees get to keep at the end!  Best for families with children ages 8 – 12 years of age. Limited to 22 participants and their caregivers, so registration is preferred. Walk-ins welcome as class size allows. Family Movie Nights: Thursdays at 6 pm: Jan. 3; Feb. 7; March 7; April 4; May 2. FREE movie, popcorn & quality time together! Movie rated PG (All ages)  Learn Spanish with Solanco HS Students: Every other Wed., at 6—7 pm March 13 - May 22 Workshop about the Spanish language, taught by Solanco High School Students.
