6th Grade Engineering Challenge

On Friday, Conestoga’s Sixth Grade took on an engineering challenge. We built bridges that spanned a 6 inch expanse, using only tooth picks and gum drops. All of the bridges needed to hold the weight of 300 pennies. In addition to a fun bridge building activity, 6-M and 6-S got to know each other better through a bridge building, ice-breaker activity. All in all, each of the created structures were successes.
