Drop Everything And Read!
Today from 9:30 to 10:00, the students, teachers, & staff at Conestoga Elementary School was very happy when Mrs. Baker announced to “drop everything and read”. The best part was that the students could read anywhere they wanted to read. We had children everywhere – READING!! This wouldn’t have been possible without the PTO buying a book for every single student at our school! Thank you PTO!
Join us for the end of year picnic from 5 to 8 today.
- Free Food
- Cake Walk
- Barrel Rides
- Photo Booth
- FUN! FUN! FUN!
Bring your lawn chairs and close out the school year with a great night of fun!
As an extra bonus, yearbooks from the years 2000 to 2014 will be for sale for $5 at the raffle table.
Chef Bill Scepansky has a passion for fruit and vegetables. Conestoga’s own garden committee, teachers, and families have a passion for fruit and vegetables. So it was a great day when the “passionate” teamed up at school and had a fun, healthy assembly, also known as the famous Garden Extravaganza Day, for our students and staff. Not even the weather held this event off. Our resilient staff & parents just moved everything indoors. Thank you to the PTO for funding this great day and to all the wonderful parent volunteers that made it possible.
Every year the 6th grade teachers and students have a carnival at recess to raise money for a charity of the students’ choice. This year, the students of Conestoga raised a whopping $652.00 and the charity chosen to receive the money is St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Thank you parents and students for making this event so successful.
