Garden Visits Welcome Tonight

Have questions about your garden?

Stop by the Diggers Garden tonight at the picnic, and meet  George DiIlio, a Penn State Master Gardener. George will be visiting our garden to see the wonderful things students have been doing, and he will be available to answer your gardening questions.

4th Grade Wax Museum

After reading a chapter book biography and researching a hero from history, on Friday the fourth graders created a Living Wax Museum.  The attendees could listen to each individual “historic figure” by simply stepping on the name plate button. Visitors learned many interesting facts during their trip down history lane.

Cruising for Conestoga

There was lots of excitement today and fun for all the students and staff at Conestoga Elementary School. A VERY BIG THANK YOU to the students & their families and friends, for raising over $15,000 for Conestoga’s annual fundraiser. The PTO uses the money throughout the year to help offset costs of field trips, provide wonderful assemblies, buy books, playground equipment and MUCH more. Enjoy some of the pictures from today.

What a Week!

The teachers, as well as the staff, were honored this week by our VERY generous PTO for National Teacher Appreciation Week. It all started Monday morning with a coffee bar & light breakfast. We love our Dunkin’. Other days treats found in the mailboxes. One example is a bag of peanuts with a cute sign on it that read “We’re Nuts About Our Teachers”. We were also treated to a very special Italian theme luncheon, complete with foods made from homemade family recipes. THANK YOU TO OUR FABULOUS PTO for everything they do for us all year. This week was extra special.
