Orange Flyer Correction

An orange paper came home with your student entitled Conestoga Elementary Contract Form. It was where you could sign up for the school blog & PTO emailing list. It was just noted that at the bottom when it talks about being entered in to a drawing for $50 Weis gift cards at the picnic, that the date of the picnic is listed incorrectly on the form.

and not May 29th as listed on the orange form.  Sorry for any inconvenience.

Teacher Appreciation Week May 7 – 11

“One looks back with appreciation to the brilliant teachers, but with gratitude to those who touched our human feelings. The curriculum is so much necessary raw material, but warmth is the vital element for the growing plant and for the soul of the child.”
Carl Jung

Conestoga Elementary has some of the most truly amazing educators.  For the week of teacher appreciation it would be nice to hear from you – our parents, our families, our students.    Please take a minute to write your child’s teacher a short note or email them about something you have witnessed and appreciated.

Our dedicated & hard working PTO has scheduled a week of treats for the teachers. Thank you so much.

  • Monday is a coffee/tea bar complete with donuts.
  • Tuesday is a luncheon for National Teacher Appreciation Day.
  • Wednesday to Friday there will be little treats in their mailbox.
  • Any day that week the teachers can pick a day to help themselves to ice cream and/or root beer soda to make a root beer float complete with whipped cream.
