FREE Vaccines Being Offered at the Farm Show

The Department of Health will offer free flu and tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis vaccines at the Farm Show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday.The flu vaccine is recommended for everyone over 6 months old, and receiving a shot in January still provides protection for the rest of this flu season.The Tdap vaccine is a one-time substitute for a tetanus-diphtheria booster, which is needed every 10 years.Anyone under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to receive either vaccine. Appointments are not necessary.The Department of Health booth will be in the Main Hall in the Maclay Street lobby area.
